Epson Label Printers
Epson ColorWorks Label Printing Solutions
Epson’s primary generations of label printers include the C3500, C7500, C7500G, and C831. These existing generations deliver a high standard of performance and cost-efficiency that meet many businesses’ demands.

Epson continue to develop new printers that drive performance and ease of use. The latest generations of label printers, the C6000A, C6000P, C6500A, and C6500P, offer many connectivity options including ZPL II, SAP, and other major middleware and Windows, Mac, and Linux support for seamless integration. These connectivity options bridge the gap for many businesses to transition easily from black and white thermal printers to color printing.

Epson provides high-performance and innovate label printers
Epson’s focus on innovation and performance is reflected in their printers. Which are designed to deliver the highest print quality, at the most efficient rate, to significantly reduce the cost of consumables.

Where inkjet printers use abundant amounts of ink per page to reach the highest quality, they subsequently increase the cost of consumables by creating the need to purchase more ink cartridges.

Epson printers, on the other hand, are designed to incorporate efficiency in the print process to reduce operating costs in the long-run.

3 key reasons you want to choose Epson printers
Quality and Efficiency are two very important variables in the printing process. However, a third key variable is the printing process itself.

The printing process can be difficult due to common issues such as interruptions, errors, malfunctions, and an ongoing need for printer maintenance; both preventative and corrective.
1. Printer speed
First of all, the speed of each printer will vary, and between the printers listed above, the average speed is between 3 – 11 inches per second. This variable does depend on the printer, print mode and design; i.e. draft, normal, and super fine modes.

2. Efficient (and economical) use of ink
Secondly, Epson printers are designed to utilize an efficient use of ink. This means that each ink cartridge is intended to produce the highest number of pages, at the highest print quality, with the least amount of ink. Which in turn leads to less need for ink cartridge replacements as well as less interruption to the printing process.

3. Less maintenance required
Lastly, when it comes to maintenance, Epson designed their printers to require the least amount of maintenance.

The printers will come with a maintenance box. This box holds waste ink which the printer automatically cleans. The benefit of which is it eliminates the need for technician-required maintenance.

The maintenance box’s service life typically lasts multiple times that of the ink cartridges (depending on the design of the label). So, your maintenance box would be functional after your ink cartridges are depleted and replaced multiple times.

As an Epson customer, the only task left is for you to replace the maintenance box once its service life is complete, which comes at a minor cost when compared to what ongoing technician-required maintenance would cost.

Epson also promotes environmental responsibility by enabling customers to send back used Epson products for recycling. And this is free of charge.

If you purchase the “Spare in the air” or onsite warranty with your Epson product, depending on the printer model, you can call Epson directly to report a malfunctioning or defective product. They will send you a replacement unit free of charge within 24 hours. All you have to do is send the unit back to Epson in the same box they delivered the replacement product in.

Choosing the right label printer for your needs
Choosing which Epson label printer is right for you depends largely on what your business needs are. The first part of the process is determining what you need from a label printer, as it’s necessary to match the task with the most appropriate technology.

If you don’t correctly determine your labeling needs, it can result in you purchasing the printer incapable of meeting your printing demands. Which can cause a drain on necessary resources.
